One of the best feelings in the world is knowing that you've positively influenced someone else - even in the smallest way. The Cadets show is full of emotion, zeal, and inspiration, giving the audience a sense of hope of how we as individuals and as a country have the power to change our situation and get through challenging times. Knowing you're a part of sharing this message is a great feeling!
What’s happening to my country?
ReplyDeleteWhen I was a young man in school, I was told America was a melting pot.
People from all over the world came together in this country and became Americans.
How proud we were! And how hard we labored and thus became the greatest nation in the world.
Then social engineers began to take over our schools.
They replaced wholesome literature (such as John Bunyan’s “Pilgrim Progress”) with that by reprobates like John Steinbeck (who wrote “The Grapes of Wrath”).
Then the Bible had to go as The Evolution of the Species became the Bible of the age.
Then we were told that we are no longer a melting pot but rather a pluralistic society.
Although the slogan “United we stand” remained, we became a divided people who emphasized ethic origin.
Morality was replaced with the amoral. Nothing was any longer to be viewed as right or wrong.
Now America is no longer a melting pot. She would be better described as a seething pot. She is boiling over with violence.
Who burned Ferguson and Baltimore and plundered those cities? It was not invading armies. It was done by Americans!
Who wounded 18 people and left nine dead? It wasn’t done by terrorists in Afghanistan but by American citizens in Waco, Texas.
In our own Jacksonville, we have shootings daily. They aren’t being done by enemies infiltrating our city but by 49 gangs made up of our children.
Have we not read, “The wicked shall be turned into hell, and every nation that forgets God”?
And do we not see this very thing happening before our eyes?
